MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS

 

Measurements MUST be taken using these instructions. All measurements

must be given, no matter what style you are ordering. The computer will not

draft without all of them. If measurements are not taken correctly, as

described, pattern may not fit properly. I can not be responsible for mistakes

made by you, but I will make every effort to make things right and help you.

 

Chest Circumference: (around nipples)

 

Center Back Length: (from collar line to waist line)

 

Back Shoulder Width: (from seam line to seam line, before puff starts.)

 

Neck Circumference: (around neck)

 

Shoulder to wrist: (from shoulder seam to wrist bone, with arm slightly bent)

 

Waist Circumference: (around waist, over belly button)

 

Sideseam Length: (from waist line, down side, all the way to hard floor

surface. I must have this to the floor to get accurate measurements.)

 

Hip Circumference: (measured around bottom, around largest area)

 

Knee Depth: (from waist line to center of knee)

 

Crotch Depth: (have them sit in a hard chair, measure from waist line down to

the hard chair surface, down their side)

 

Crotch Length: (thru legs, from front waist line to back line)

 

Ankle Circumference: (around ankle bone line)

 

Center Front Waist to Floor: (measuring from waist line to floor, from the front

waist line)

 

Center Back Waist to Floor: (measuring from the waist line to floor, from the

back waist line)

 

Shoulder Slope: (sloped, average, or square)

 

Buttocks: (very round, round, flat, very flat, or average)

 

Abdomen: (very round, round, flat, very flat, or average)
